Network Engineer - Yorkshire - £40k+

My client is currently seeking a Network Engineer, you must be able to manage and apply new technologies and projects to the network, to improve reliability, efficiency costs and improve network performance to enhance service offering. Knowledge and experience of network security and design best practices and business controls. Experience in troubleshooting problems across a large network with varying technologies and vendor devices, some of which are at the bleeding edge of networking. Yopu will have experience with routers, switching network technologies and an ability to troubleshoot problems at all layers of the OSI network model. Ideally you will have qualifications in networking disciplines (e.g. CCNP, JNCIS, MCSE, ENE) Strong core knowledge of cisco, Netscreen, extreme networks ad checkpoint operating systems is essential along with some experience with firewall, frame relay, Internet, Intrusion Detection Systems and Ethernet network administration.
